ICYMI: The Biggest Transit Of 2023 Is Happening In March

Besties, it’s the most beautiful time of the year: It’s finally a month with no planets in retrograde. February 2023 was the first month since April 2022 that no planets were retrograding. It seems like the stars decided to give us a well-needed break (or finally grew tired of watching us suffer) through March 2023 as well.

Thankfully, this year hasn’t brought too much cosmo chaos yet (remember when we had six planets retrograding at once?), but there are some transits happening this month that are sure to shake things up

Normally, I’d be the first to tell you to buckle up and get ready to meditate because chaos is on the way —And that’s actually exactly what I’m about to tell you. But while no planets are actually going retrograde this month, we have a serious transit involving Saturn on March 7 (like, the biggest transit of the year type of serious) and a full moon on the same day.

This month is sure to bring some excitement, to say the least, but honestly, I love some good astrology drama. Grab my hand bestie, and start following some mindfulness socials, stat: It’s time to go stargazing and get the low down on everything the planets are bringing in March 2023.

Saturn enters Pisces on March 7.

Saturn enters the magical dreamland sign of Pisces on March 7 and will remain there until May 24, 2025, then again from Aug. 31, 2025, until Feb. 13, 2026. I know what you’re thinking, that’s a long a** time and what does that mean for me? Well, I’m so glad you asked!

To understand how Saturn in Pisces will impact your life, it’s important to understand more about the sign of Pisces. Pisces is the final zodiac sign with the season falling on Feb. 19 and lasting until March 20.

Pisceans are often known for being sensitive but also extremely creative. They’ve been known to see the world through rose-colored glasses, always finding beauty in the mundane. As mentioned, they’re sensitive, but this allows them to be very in tune with the emotions of others around them, making them a great person to have in your inner circle. Pisces is a water sign with the symbol of a fish; they’re normally very go-with-the-flow and like to let things happen organically.

It takes around 30 years for the masculine planet Saturn to complete its orbit through the zodiac. Saturn is associated with limitations and discipline which sounds kinda boring, I know, but Saturn allows us to be aware of our own boundaries and responsibilities. It allows us to see the areas in our life where we still have some work to do, so think of Saturn as that friend that isn’t afraid to tell it like it is.

As you can tell, Pisces and Saturn give off two very different vibes, which is what makes this transit so interesting. Throughout the next few years, Saturn will give us some (and much-needed) tough love. While Pisces encourages us to see the glass half full, Saturn will ask us to really look into the reality of our situations. Instead of disassociating and being totally delusional about the future (I’m talking to myself), it might be time to look at our dreams and start to develop habits that will help build them into our reality.

There’s also a Full Moon in Virgo.

As if March 7 wasn’t already bringing the heat with Saturn entering Pisces, there will also be a Virgo full moon. This full moon is the last one of the astrological year, and full moons are all about closing out a cycle. You can do this by reflecting on the past month and seeing what emotions come out. It’s important to really sit and experience those emotions before you can fully close this chapter and move forward.

Virgos are very determined, hardworking, and practical. Virgo (and Pisces) are known as the healers of the zodiac. Virgos tend to really focus on their own goals which sometimes makes them come across as a little self-involved. This full moon is encouraging you to encompass that Virgo energy into your own life and shift the focus on yourself. This is the optimal time to let go of any self-doubt or insecurities stopping you from living your best life. If there is a career dream you want to pursue, a trip you’re dying to go on, or someone you’ve wanted to talk to for ages, this is the time to take that plunge and go after what you desire.

What Signs Are Most Affected by March’s Astrological Forecast?

In short, all of them, yikes! No one is exempt this month, bestie, but don’t be scared — we’re going to get through this Saturn transit and full moon together. However, those with Pisces placements may be feeling the universe’s energy a little extra this month. It might take some time, but these transits will motivate you to get your dreams in motion, and your future self will thank you!
