Lose the Freshman 15: My favorite workout

Yesterday I missed my workout AND my blog. I am only a little bit sorry, though, because I am in Las Vegas and I am having a hella-good time.

Last night was full of way too many calories. Between dinner, drinks and a 2 a.m. turkey burger, I definitely maxed out on mistakes. I am a little frustrated since I’ve been pretty good all week. But! I’m going to take my frustration to the gym and do one of Jillian’s cardio plan workouts that I have been enjoying a lot lately.

 

First, you start on the elliptical.

Go for 5 minutes at incline 10, resistance 4 at 60+ RPM.

Go for 10 minutes at incline 15, resistance 7 at 50+ RPM.

Go for 10 minutes at incline 15, resistance 7 at 50+ RPM, backward.

 

After 25 minutes, you’ll be well warmed up  and ready for the stair stepper.

Go for 10 minutes at level 4.

Go for 5 minutes at level 3.

Go for 5 minutes at level 2, backward.

 

After a total of 45 minutes your legs will have felt the burn and your cardio for the day will be complete. I’ve been doing this workout all week and I’ve loved it!
