It’s a bittersweet feeling knowing that this is the last blog post I’ll write for my “Lose the Freshman 15” program.
Ten weeks ago I weighed 145 lbs., and ten weeks ago, I didn’t think I’d successfully reach my goal of shedding the unwanted weight with the Jump Start Diet. However, with a drastic change in my self-confidence, I was able to lose 17 lbs. with my diet with the Jump Start Diet, as well as incorporating five days of cardio into my daily routine.
My happy, healthy weight loss also had quite a few key players as well that I’d like to thank: New Balance for all the awesome workout gear that helped to motivate me to get my butt to the gym; popchips for being my new favorite healthy and yummy go-to snack; Honest Tea for reminding me that there are great beverages other than soda; Truvia for being that extra sweetness in my coffee and brownies without throwing me off track; Sargento for providing me with delish recipes without the normal bland taste of healthy foods; Dormzy for online shopping at it’s best– offering the convenience of grocery shopping without leaving the house!
And last, but certainly not least, the wonderful ladies at Her Campus–Stephanie, Windsor & Annie–and from SELF magazine, for presenting me this wonderful opportunity to share my weight loss journey with all you lovely ladies.
I also won’t forget my two fellow bloggers Nikki and Sara— you both were the best to work with and your stories were inspiring. Congratulations on your weight loss and best of luck in continuing your healthy journeys!
Thanks to everyone who kept up with our blogs, you’re the best!
Remember, it’s never too late to start a diet! If you’d like to join me in my healthy, happy weight loss (and please do), go register for the Jump Start Diet on SELF.com and be sure to use the SELF logs to keep track of your daily workout and meals, which is an awesome way to keep track of your calorie intake and how much you’re burning off!
