       My apologies for the lack of blog posts lately – Nanning, classes, papers, workouts, and exams have consumed my life since I returned from spring break. And my blog was seemly put on the back burner. But I’ll have you know I have not forgotten about you and want to know what you [the readers] want! Please comment and let me know what you want me to write about: ways to push through workouts, embarassing gym moments, questions you have about the Jumpstart Diet, or anything else that will help motivate you. I want to write what you want to read, so the more comments the better!

As for my Monday at the gym

       I was getting it to “Halo,” by Beyonce – I mean seriously getting it. I didn’t even realize how into it I was until I peeked over at the girl on the machine next to me.
[she looked at me in disgust]
       I was embarrassingly sweaty. So much that I refuse to give you a description as to what I actually looked like. 
 But I wore my sweat with pride as I reminded myself that she was just jealous that I was losing more water weight than she was – SUCKA!  So I kept on keeping’ on and finished my full 50 minutes of cardio in a rather self-consciously smelly manner.                                         As for dinner, I ate grilled chicken and brown rice with fresh tomatoes and cucumber sauce. Tip- Make enough for leftovers that way you will have a healthy lunch for tomorrow! Can you say Mediterranean pitas? Yum!                                           Tomorrow I plan on hitting the pool and did I mention my friend Charlotte was teaching me how to flip turn? This should be interesting…
