If there’s one thing Zendaya knows how to do, it’s make a press tour feel less like a series of red carpets and more like a full-blown fashion mythology unfolding in real time. While promoting The Odyssey, Zendaya has been serving looks that have me wondering if Mount Olympus might need to make room for a new fashion-forward goddess. From ethereal gowns that look like they were draped by Greek muses themselves to modern takes on ancient silhouettes, Zendaya’s The Odyssey press tour outfits have taken archival pulls to a whole new level.
Of course, when it comes to Zendaya, we’ve come to expect nothing less than a little fashion magic. With the help of longtime stylist Law Roach, Zendaya has mastered the art of transforming promotional appearances into unforgettable fashion moments that feel just as cinematic as the films she’s representing. From the tennis-inspired looks she served for Challengers to dresses that looked like they’d been spun from real webs for the more recent Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour, she’s always ahead of the method dressing game. And this time around, Zendaya’s trading in tennis courts and superhero suits for Greek mythology, proving once again that there’s no character — fictional or otherwise — she can’t bring to life through fashion. Read on for some of Zendaya’s The Odyssey press tour looks that have us questioning if the real treasure of ancient Greece was actually her wardrobe.
- Haute Couture Schiaparelli Dress
-
Photo by Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images In a move that took same-day shipping to the next level, Zendaya’s first look for the London leg of The Odyssey press tour was actually the closing look for Schiaparelli’s fall 2026 couture show in Paris, which had happened just hours before the premiere. From the elaborate jewels around her neck to the highlight that was dusted in the corners of her eyes, I genuinely don’t know which glamorous detail is my favorite.
- Sage Valentino Dress
-
Photo by Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images I think Sabrina Carpenter actually wrote, “One of me is cute, but two though?” about Zendaya and her outfit changes. If you weren’t previously gagged by her Schiaparelli closer dress, this one will do it. The fashion icon swapped her structured corset gown for a softer, sage-colored dress that featured a bralette style top and a drapey skirt that almost resembles a Grecian tunic. It’s just gag after gag with this girl.
- White SS06 Trussardi Gown
-
Now, this is how you pull from the archives. Adding to the tunic vibes, Zendaya opted for a beautifully beaded gown that comes from Trussardi’s Spring/Summer 2006 show. Everyone, say thank you to Law Roach!
- Custom Jacquemus Gown
-
Photo by Shane Anthony Sinclair/Getty Images According to Yahoo, Law Roach said that he was drawing from “the essence of Athena” for this custom look. The minimalist gown features an almost-ethereal headscarf that was accessorized with earrings that were actually made with first-millenium B.C. ancient disks. Zendaya definitely paid the most glamorous homage to the goddess of war with this one.
