I Want To Buy Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Lip Balm Case Immediately

Updated Published

Sometimes, shoving a bulky wallet, hand lotion, tissues, car keys, chapstick, and your phone in your fanny pack just doesn’t work. The zipper will eventually break, queen. (RIP to my fanny pack of three years, who saw its last sunrise a few months ago). Usually, the solution is to just hold your phone in your hand to free up some room, and potentially save your fanny pack’s life. Well, lucky for us, Hailey Bieber has another space-saving option: a rhode lip balm phone case. Yes, you read that right.

Hailey Bieber posted an Instagram mirror selfie on Feb. 4 of a phone case engraved with the word “rhode” that was actually holding her cult fave Peptide Lip Treatment ($16, rhode). So, where can you buy the rhode lip balm phone case? The brand finally announced on Feb. 13 that you’ll be able to add the rhode lip case to your cart on Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET. It’ll cost you $35 and will be available for iPhone 14 and 15 Pro and Pro Max models.

Fans suspected the phone cases would probably be coming to the rhode website pretty soon after Bieber’s initial Feb. 4 post. When she shared it, Bieber posted the photo along with a pic of “rhode”-labeled paper bags, leading some to believe that the phone case might be a new, upcoming addition to Bieber’s skin care brand, which launched in June 2022. In the post, she’s showing off how the case holds her lip product with the caption “just girly things” and an assortment of pink emojis. With millions of likes in just days, it was clear people were hyped.

The comments under Bieber’s Instagram post are loving the new phone case. Beauty influencer Naomi Mizrahi commented, “I need this case!!!” and makeup artist Catlin Lawson said, “We NEED the phone case.” Many X users are also showing their praise toward Bieber’s case, too. User @JAILEYSWRLD wrote, “A phone case with a lip treatment holder..nobody doing it like hailey bieber.” Another, @pradaparisian, wrote, “hailey bieber made a phone case that holds your rhode peptide lip treatment. how cool!”

One of rhode’s core values is simplicity, and a lip balm-holding phone case embodies this. I might just have to ditch my wallet case and give this one a try.
