As much as I enjoy waking up in the morning and throwing on my favorite tinted moisturizer, creamy bronzer, and hot pink blush for a summery glow, I can’t help but get excited about the warm, autumn-inspired beauty trends that I’m about to see all around campus this season. And, because the beginning of the fall semester is quickly approaching, there’s no better time to transition my makeup bag.

Foundation
As we get closer to the weather getting cooler and the leaves starting to change, I’m trading in my tinted moisturizer for the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Liquid Foundation, which not only provides great full-face coverage, but is also sweat and humidity resistant—so when you’re getting used to your new class schedule and running from one building to the next, you won’t feel like it’s coming off your face.
How I Use It
Before I apply the foundation, I make sure to moisturize my skin and use a primer for the best results. With two pumps of foundation on the back of my hand, I use my Beautyblender to dab the foundation evenly across my face.
Eyeshadow
When selecting my eyeshadow for this fall, I wanted to make sure I chose something that had a great range of color options so that I could spice up my look for each of the activities happening this semester, from the first day of class to roomie date nights to student org mixers. And, with nine shades in a variety of finishes, the Mented Cosmetics Everyday Eyeshadow Palette is a perfect choice! In addition to having an assortment of colors, it also allows me to get deep matte autumnal shades and a shimmer finish.
How I Use It
When applying my eyeshadow, I start by spreading the lightest shade of brown around my lid. Next, I select a deeper shadow and put it on the outside of my lid. I finish my eyes off with one of the beautiful shimmer shades and spread it on my lid using my finger.
BRONZER & BLUSH
Applying bronzer is my next step in my makeup routine, and even though I use it minimally in the fall (instead of dusting it all over my face like during summer), I wanted to make sure I chose one that adds warmth to my look. And after finding out that the Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer is easy to blend and gives your face a sun-soaked glow that lasts, I was sold because even though I’m excited for fall, who doesn’t want to keep that sunny, summer glow? In the fall I also want to add cool colors to my cheeks, and the ColourPop Hydrating Blush Stix adds just the right amount of pink.
How I Use It
On my cheekbones I sweep upwards toward my temples with the Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer. Once it’s blended, I swipe the ColourPop Hydrating Blush Stix across my cheekbones.
LIPS
Finishing off my makeup with a touch of lipgloss is a must for me—no matter the season. For fall, I like to add just a hint of cooler pink color to my lips with Kylie Cosmetics Plumping Gloss in Moody Queen. Bonus: This gloss has major plumping power to make my lips pop.
How I Use It
As the last step of my makeup, I swipe Kylie Cosmetics Plumping Gloss on my bottom and top lips. I keep it in my bag for a quick refresh when needed!
