A delightful encounter with a stranger. A brush, a touch, a whispered “yes.” An exhilarating adventure. No, these aren’t lines from some steamy new fanfiction — they’re details describing three new fragrances from none other than Harry Styles. Since wrapping his marathon Love On Tour in July, Styles has been busy achieving Roman Empire status in the minds of people everywhere, shaving his head, and now, expanding his brand, Pleasing.
In the world of celebrity beauty brands, Pleasing has kept a relatively low profile since launching their first collection, Perfect Pearl, in 2021, which included nail polishes, skin care products, and a black crewneck. Over time, the brand has grown to offer a wider range of apparel, beauty products, and accessories, with their website including everything from lip balm and acid drops to journals and tote bags. Pleasing has also notably used their collections to partner with a variety of nonprofits and charity organizations, like Queercircle and Cool Earth, through their Do Better initiative.
Now, the brand is ready for its next step with the introduction of three vegan, genderless fragrances inspired by Styles’ “own experience with time, place, memory, and intricately linked by an exploration of warmth,” as noted on the brand’s Instagram. The sensual scents — named Rivulets, Closeness, and Bright, Hot — were created in collaboration with French fragrance house Robertet, “the world leader in sustainable, natural raw materials,” highlighting Pleasing’s commitment to creating ethically-conscious products. As the holiday season quickly approaches, I can’t think of a better gift idea for all the Styles’ fans in my life (and myself, ofc)!
Pleasing Fragrance Release Date
All three scents dropped on Nov. 16 at noon EST online at Pleasing.com, but this isn’t the only place to shop. The brand is launching pop-up shops in New York, Los Angeles, and London for an exciting shopping experience.

The NYC and LA stores will be open each week Tuesday-Sunday into the new year. Meanwhile, the London location will operate Monday-Friday through Dec. 9. The fragrances can also be found at Selfridges stores in Birmingham, Manchester Trafford, and Manchester Exchange Square.
Pleasing Fragrance Scents
OK, I’ll admit capturing the essence of a fragrance without actually smelling it in person can be a challenge, but here’s a breakdown of the key ingredients composing each scent so you can choose which one is best for you! Bright, Hot is a woody amber scent with top notes of plum and tobacco leaves. Rivulets is a fresh amber with top notes of ambrette seeds, lemon, and black pepper. Closeness is a woody musk scent with top notes of cardamom, Australian pink pepper extract, and clean sheets.
