The Best Holiday 2023 Candles From Bath & Body Works To Buy This Year

It may currently be mid-October, but I can’t help but think about the winter holidays. The yuletide cheer, yummy desserts, and Christmas movie marathons are all things I look forward to. It’s pretty hard to believe the holidays are almost here. Soon, we’ll be swapping out orange and black Halloween decor for icicle lights and sugar cookies. Although it may be too soon to decorate your space for the holidays, there’s no reason why your space shouldn’t smell like it! So why not celebrate a little early by treating yourself to a holiday candle? Bath & Body Works is famous for its stupendous scents, and the holiday ones are no exception!

With amazing aromas of hot cocoa, peppermint, pine, and more, it’s hard to decide what kind of holiday candle to buy. There are so many ways to choose a candle for yourself. Some like floral candles and some prefer the ones that smell like delicious food. Heck, you could even buy one based on your zodiac sign! If you’re wondering about the best holiday 2023 candles from Bath & Body Works, I created a list of the best picks based on all of the great things that the holidays bring. You’ll want to stock up on these before they’re gone.

Festive Feels

These candles are perfect for emulating the feelings of the holiday season! Something about each of the candles embodies the holiday spirit. ‘Tis The Season has a fruity, woodsy, and spiced scent. The candle features notes of apples, sweet cinnamon, and cedarwood, which are all-encompassing smells of festive fun! Next is Spiced Citrus Grove — think of it as a holiday potpourri. With the aroma of ripe oranges speckled with cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, this candle evokes the comfort and warmth that the holidays bring. Lastly, Pistachio & Toasted Vanilla has notes of salted pistachios and toasted vanilla almonds. I like to think of it as an elegant version of chestnuts roasted on an open fire!

Christmas Trees

As someone who doesn’t typically get a real Christmas tree, I unfortunately do not get the chance to enjoy the smell of fresh pine. If you still want that scent but can’t necessarily fit a tree in your dorm room, these candles are the perfect solution! Fresh Balsam smells exactly like walking around a Christmas tree lot. It has notes of woodland balsam, crisp eucalyptus, fir branches, and cedarwood. Want something with a hint of warmth? Then try Tree Farm, which smells like crisp pine needles, warm cedar, and spiced apples.

Holiday Baking

Want your place to smell like you’re always baking? Well, you’ll love these two candles! Sugared Snickerdoodle smells like creamy vanilla with warm cinnamon spice. The Merry Cookie candle smells exactly like it sounds — think fresh-baked cookies and sparkling sugar crystals with a rich vanilla scent. Just imagine these two candles constantly making your space smell like an irresistible plate of cookies!

Winter Wonderland

These candles have a crisp winter scent that’s great while you’re bundling up in a blanket as the snow gently falls outside. Winter smells like you’re in a glistening and woodsy winter wonderland. It has notes of white woods, pine needles, sparkling clementine, and spiced clove. Next, imagine sitting inside a snow globe with a cute pink fuzzy sweater. Well, that’s what Snowy Peach Berry is like, with fragrance notes of sweet peaches, tart cranberry, and a hint of warm sugar. Last is Frosted Cranberry, which smells like iced cranberries, blonde woods, and red apples. I like to think of this candle as a perfect transitional scent into the winter season.

Celebrations

I know this technically isn’t a holiday scent, but Champagne Toast is my Roman Empire, and I have this candle and lotion in my collection constantly. It has an aroma of a fruity, sweet, sparkling spritzer. With fragrance notes of bubbly champagne, and sparkling berries, it’s a great candle to have during holiday parties or on a night of unwinding.

I hope this list helps you pick out candles that’ll become your newest holiday favorites. Bath & Body Works has many more holiday candles to buy, so I recommend going to your nearest one and trying them for yourself! But hurry, because just like the holiday season, these candles will come and go in the blink of an eye.
