After the rollercoaster that was the year 2020, I decided that 2021 would be a year of health, wealth, and prosperity. In a quest to get my crap together and be the health-conscious, early riser that I’ve dreamed of being for years and years, I decided to start my mornings off with journaling and a cup of tea. One day, as I was looking for a good tasting, energy boosting tea to complement my mornings, I came across the brand Yogi’s “Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life” flavor, and decided to give it a go; it said it contained caffeine (just what I needed for an 8 a.m. pick-me-up) and, I love anything blueberry, so it seemed perfect for me.

I quickly became a fan, and soon returned to my local grocery store to buy another box, only to be disappointed that they’d run out. In hopes of finding a worthy substitute, I came across Yogi’s Green Tea Kombucha – and quickly fell in love with that one as well. My morning and mid-afternoon cups of tea have now become a relaxing daily ritual of mine, but for a different reason besides the sweet taste.

Attached to every bag of tea comes an inspiring, uplifting quote printed on a little square of paper. At first, I didn’t even notice this, but after a few quotes caught my eye while waiting for my water to get hot, I then began to look forward to what the universe decided to show me that day. I want to list a few quotes that I’ve saved over the past few weeks, and I hope they bring you some joy as well!

“May this day be the day to lead us to peace, to happiness, and to joy”

“An attitude of gratitude brings opportunities”

“Let your energy be used to build, not destroy”

“Love is the ultimate law of life”

“What belongs to you shall come to you”

“You are unlimited”

(A personal favorite, I think)

“You are equally as beautiful as the universe”

(This one I have taped to my bedroom mirror)

Now, maybe I’m just completely out of the loop, and these are quotes that they borrowed from other people, but either way, reading these every day gives me a little boost of positivity that is especially important these days, and these aren’t even all of them! Even if you aren’t a regular tea drinker, I think there’s something to be said for starting your day in a beautiful and uplifting way. Maybe find some quotes that speak to you on Pinterest and tape them to your mirror, or hang them on your wall to look at every day. Little things like this just might make a world of difference in your life.
