Why did you want to join Her Campus York U?
I’d been reading Her Campus articles from their high school section for the past year trying to prepare myself for university, and I loved how real and open the writers were about their experiences. Even though I’ve only been here a month, a lot of what I read on the site has helped and prepared me. I got really excited when I heard the HCYU was going to be re-launching, and I looked for a way to get involved that tied in with studying business.
What is your goal for Her Campus this year?
My goal is to apply the concepts and theories I learn in my marketing and business classes to the HCYU chapter. I’m excited to work with the team to create a stable marketing plan and promotional strategies. However, I also hope to help HCYU branch out in terms of events and initiatives on campus.
What is your dream career?
As of right now, I’m keeping my options as open as possible within the business field, but I’ve been really interested in marketing, advertising, and brand management.
If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
It would probably be spaghetti, but you can incorporate all the food groups, and the variations are endless. It’s very comforting, but it can be semi-healthy if you want it to be.
Where is somewhere you want to travel to?
Budapest is at the top of my list!
Finally, the most important question of all: favourite pizza toppings?
Onions, mushrooms, and banana peppers.
