6 Signs It’s Midterm Season at W&M

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WM chapter.

It’s that time of year again: fall midterms. It seems like school started just yesterday, but you suddenly have two tests and a paper due all in the same week. Here are some signs that it’s midterm season at W&M.

1. You spend more time at Swem looking for a seat than actually studying.

2. You got a free drink with your Aroma’s punchcard in the span of a week.

3. You’ve started calculating the lowest grade you could get on your test while still passing the class.

4. You wonder if a professor will notice if you use size 16 punctuation marks on your paper instead of size 12 so you can reach the minimum page limit.

5. You pet every dog you see because it destresses you. You also do this when you’re not stressed because who doesn’t like petting dogs?

6. You’re reading this article right now to procrastinate.

Good luck on midterms, and remember, Fall Break is coming up soon!
