BØrns is an alternative artist from Michigan who is quickly gaining attention through his electro-pop songs and unique sound. His song ‘Electric Love’, has even been featured in commercials for Southwest Airlines and Hulu. He recently released a full-length album titled ‘Dopamine’, that has garnered impressive reviews by critics. Some songs that exemplify his style include ‘Past Lives’, ‘Holy Ghost’, and ‘The Emotion’.
2. Alessia Cara
Alessia Cara is a young pop artist from Canada who is quickly making her way to the top. Some of her songs have been featured in the hit show Quantico, and she currently has a single, ‘Here’, featured on the Billboard 100 list! Some songs of hers worth checking out include ‘I’m Yours’, ‘Seventeen’, and ‘Wild Things’.

3. Hippo Campus
Hippo Campus is an indie band from St. Paul, Minnesota who are rapidly making headlines, often performing at music festivals and opening for well-known groups including Walk the Moon. They even played in Madison in November! They currently have two EP’s out, and some songs to listen to include ‘Close to Gold’, ‘Opportunistic’, and ‘Little Grace’.
