Freakfest 2018 is just around the corner! Don’t know the date or who’s performing? Have no fear! I’ve attached all the information you need to have a spook-tastic time this Halloween.

The Information

Freakfest is the region’s largest annual Halloween Bash. The date of this year’s event is Saturday, October 27. Doors open at 7:00pm and the festival ends at 1:30am. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 or for $15 on the day of the show. If you’re interested, tickets are sold online or by phone: (800)-745-3000. If you have any questions regarding safety or the logistics of the event, please visit their website. Now that you have all the information regarding the event itself, aren’t you curious about this year’s lineup?

The Lineup

  • The Mountain Dew Stage at Capitol Square

    • MisterWives, Tank and the Bangas, Big Freedia, Lex Allen, Gender Confetti, DJ Boyfrrriend

  • Steve Brown Apartments Stage at Gilman Street

    • Quinn XCII, Yung Gravy, Djay Mando, Son!, Kenny Hoopla, Neu Dae

  • Ian’s Pizza & WSUM Stage at Francis Street

Misterwives is an indie-pop band based out of New York City. They’re veterans to the Freakfest scene, and will no doubt be a great show. If you’re more into pop, check out Detroit-based artist, Quinn XCII. His music is simple and upbeat, so grab your girl group and hit the dance floor. The beauty of Freakfest is the range of artists. It’s easy to flow from one artist to another, so don’t limit yourself by who you know. You’ve got the information, and now you’ve got the lineup. Tickets are cheap, so why not spend some time on State Street with some awesome performers?
