9 Last Minute Couple Costume Ideas

With Halloween fast approaching, you may still be in need of a costume… and it probably took you until now to convince your significant other to dress up with you.  In case you are in need of some last minute ideas, here’s some costumes that you can easily rock with stuff you already have (or things that aren’t too expensive to run out and buy!).   

1) April and Andy from Parks and Recreation

What he needs: Flannel shirt and jeans

What she needs: Jeans, sweater, and floral shirt

2) Flo and Mayhem

What he needs: Sports jacket (ripped but doesn’t have to be), dress pants, dress shirt and tie, pink sweatband, and butterfly bandages

What she needs: White shirt, white pants, sneakers, white apron, and blue headband

3) Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable

What he needs: Black long-sleeved shirt, cargo pants, and gloves

What she needs: Black long-sleeved crop top, cargo pants, and gloves

4) Each Other

 Switch wardrobes for the night!

5) Cosmo and Wanda from Fairly Oddparents

What he needs: Black pants, white dress shirt, black tie, green hairspray, crown (use yellow craft foam and use wire or pipe cleaners to attach it to a headband), and a wand (use craft foam and a black stick)

What she needs: Yellow t-shirt, black pants, pink hairspray, crown, and wand

6)    Sandy and Danny from Grease

What he needs: Black T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up, black jeans, and black shoes

What she needs: Black off-the-shoulder T-shirt, black leather pants, and red heels

7)    Mario and Princess Peach

What he needs: Red T-shirt, overalls, red baseball hat with the “Mario M” on it (which you can totally write on there in Sharpie), and white gloves

What she needs: Pink dress, white long gloves, and a crown

8)    Pebbles and Bam Bam from The Flintstones

What he needs: Orange shorts with black triangles drawn on them, orange baseball hat with black triangle draw on, orange fabric to make the sash, and a bone to connect the sash and shorts (club optional)

What she needs: Green tank top with black triangles drawn on, blue shorts, and a bone for in your hair

9)    Mickey and Minnie

What he needs: Black shirt, red shorts, white gloves, and mouse ears

What she needs: Red and white polka dot dress, black tights, white gloves, mouse ears, red and white bow, and yellow heels

Every year, Halloween approaches a lot faster than we anticipate.  Hopefully, if you are trying to pull something off last minute, you’ll find inspiration with this list!  

Hannah, originally from Milwaukee, WI is a Campus Correspondent for HC Wisconsin.  Hannah is a Senior and is studying Political Science and Psychology.  She aspires to work in health policy and will run for office one day.  She is never seen without a cup of coffee in hand and loves to eat any food in sight, especially sushi.  Outside of school, Hannah frequents Badger sporting events and likes to hang out with her friends on the weekends finding new things to do and new places to eat.  Hannah also runs her own Mary Kay business and is obsessed with keeping up with the latest makeup trends! This will be her seventh semester on the Her Campus team, and she loves the org more and more each semester!  It is Hannah's favorite thing that she is involved in on campus and highly recommends anyone with an interest in writing, journalism, or blogging to get involved, you won't regret it! Madison is a senior at the University of Wisconsin pursuing a major in English Literature with minors in Entrepreneurship and Digital Media Studies. Post college, Madison plans to complete her dreams of being the next Anna Wintour. In her free time, Madison enjoys listening to Eric Hutchinson, eating dark chocolate, and FaceTiming her puppies back home. When she isn't online shopping, or watching YouTube bloggers (ie Fleur DeForce), Madison loves exploring the vast UW Campus and all it has to offer!
