Regardless of who you date, your single friends will always tell you they are jealous.  When you start dating one of your best friends, it makes everyone even more envious, and here are some reasons why:

1.     No matter how many times you see each other, you still get butterflies when they enter the room.

Just thinking about them will even give you butterflies.

2.     You can literally share everything and they won’t judge you.

There is no such thing as over sharing.

3.     But then again, saying nothing at all is totally okay because the silence is as great as the conversations.

I mean, what could be better than cuddling?!

4.     You can always count on having someone to hang out with.

And it’s even better if you share a friend group.

5.     You have to work through your fights right away, because you remember something important you need to tell them.

They’re too cute to stay mad at anyway.

6.     They have seen you at your absolute worst and still stuck around.

And tried to make it better too.

7.     They could care less if you come over after rolling out of bed, because they always think you look your best.

Regardless of how bad you look, they will always make you feel pretty.

8.     They know exactly how to make your worst days better.

Ice cream, Starbucks, repeat.

9.     You always have a therapist when you need one.

They might not have signed on for all of your drama, but…

10.  You share the same interests, so finding something to do isn’t a challenge.

Even if your interests are just watching Netflix and stuffing your face with popcorn.

11.  Even if you like different things, you will always do what the other person is into.

Every athlete needs their number one fan!

12.  You already knew you could trust them before you started dating.

One of the hardest parts of a relationship is the trust, but if you know you can already trust them it makes life so much better.

13.  You know what they are thinking just by the look on their face.

If you are really special, you can probably have a conversation by facial expressions alone.

14.  They can tell your mood by the tone in your texts.

Overuse of punctuation is probably not a good sign.

15.  You start developing similar quirks without even realizing it.

Whether it’s an overused phrase or a victory dance, you’re close to being the same person by now.

16.  You have your TV shows that you can only watch with them, or it isn’t the same.

“You watched ahead without me??” Never a fun fight.

17.  You will forever be your friends’ “favorite couple”.

And they will remind you all the time.

18.  You can act like kids together, and they won’t judge you.

In fact, acting like kids together is more fun than not.

19.  Doing anything besides staying in seems like too much work.

Why should you have to dress up to go out when you have just as much fun watching old movies together?

20.  You make fun of each other, and they make fun of you right back.

Sarcasm is the foundation of your relationship.

21.  You are 100% comfortable with them.

You can tell them anything, show up in sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt with a gallon tub of ice cream, and they won’t care.

22.  You enjoy every moment together.

Everything seems so much better when you are together.

23.  Most of all, you are in love with your best friend and what could be better?

Nothing. Nothing could be better than this.

Let’s face it, regardless of who you fall in love with it will undeniably be amazing.  Whoever is lucky enough to steal your heart, they will most likely become your best friend (if they aren’t already), and what could be better than that?
