Autumn is back, which means it’s time for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, fall fashion accessories and an Instagram feed filled with an abundance of leaf pictures. And since it is finally cold enough for you to start making up excuses to steal hoodies, there really isn’t a better time for romantic and fun dates with your significant other! So, here’s a list of many different date ideas you can enjoy together this Fall!

  1. Explore the Farmer’s Market together.
  1. Get the #Squad together for a trip to a haunted house.
  1. Crush some cider beer while you watch the football game together.
  1. Pick two perfect pumpkins to carve at a pumpkin patch.
  1. Go for a bike ride down a scenic path on a beautiful day.
  1. Cook a “Thanksgiving for Two” the week before the actual Thanksgiving.
  1. Get an adorable kissing picture with a gorgeous autumn background. 
  1. Pick apples at an apple orchard, and attempt to make an apple pie at home!
  1. Hike (or drive) up to the highest point in town to look at the colors of autumn leaves on the treetops.
  1. Go thrift-store-hopping for the perfect Halloween costumes.
  1. Stay warm next to a mini bonfire and make S’mores.
  1. Stop by a coffee shop and try some new fall drinks.
  1. Attend your old high school’s homecoming game, and show him/her your old locker.
  1. Head over to the movie theater and watch the latest horror movie.
  1. Keep an ongoing scrapbook full of pictures from all your autumn adventures together, including pressed and laminated leaves!

Although it seems that Fall has just arrived, Winter is just around the corner. With so much fun to have in such little time, make sure you make a bunch of perfect memories. Whether it’s your first or your 100th fall season together, there is no time to waste! Grab your S/O and head out the door— with wearing fall boots, leather jackets and all that good stuff.

Madison is a senior at the University of Wisconsin pursuing a major in English Literature with minors in Entrepreneurship and Digital Media Studies. Post college, Madison plans to complete her dreams of being the next Anna Wintour. In her free time, Madison enjoys listening to Eric Hutchinson, eating dark chocolate, and FaceTiming her puppies back home.
