This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winthrop chapter.

Watch out Chick-fil-A! It looks like you may just have some competition to be the yummiest fast food place in America!

“Salad and Go” is an Arizona based drive-thru restaurant that serves healthy options such as salads, soups, smoothies and breakfast according to Business Insider author Leanna Garfield, and they all can be bought for cheap prices all under $10. Drive-thru’s have become apart of American culture, but most of the drive-thru options are unhealthy fast foods like burgers, nuggets and french fries—but with “Salad and Go” American culture can be reworked and made healthy!

On the official “Salad and Go” website, the owners explain that they created the company because they “believe that living life in the fast lane doesn’t require sacrificing flavor or nutrition.” And it’s true! Who says that you can’t eat healthily when you’re busy?

Garfield writes that the Arizona food chain “plans to launch eight more Arizona locations by the end of 2017, and elsewhere in the US in the next two years.” Fingers crossed it’ll dominate the fast food scene and become America’s number one healthiest drive-thru. We’ll always love you, Chick-fil-A, but “Salad and Go” seems like it could be a new favorite of ours.
