Before the pandemic, I loved shopping in-person and buying products and clothing first-hand. Now being in college, it’s so convenient to order things and for them to come quickly. I would watch my mom get packages on Amazon and never understand the hype, but now… Amazon is my most used app. Not only have I used this website for products, but clothing as well. I have recently purchased some products that have truly changed my life: vamped by morning routine, sustainability, and wardrobe. Here’s a list of products that I’m loving and why.
1. brita filter
For many semesters, I have been carrying heavy water bottles up from the car by myself (because I am an independent queen). I would constantly run out of water, especially with refilling my Keurig for my daily coffee. I saw my friend Yasmine have this pitcher of water in her fridge and saw so many Black Girl Luxury tikokers have it in their refrigerator, so I finally caved in and bought it. I realized how much more sustainable it was and the amount of money I’d save. The water tastes amazing and the filter only needs to be changed every 3-6 months! 2. gold ring
The rings are everything! I have been looking for gold jewelry that doesn’t tarnish and shines. The Forever 21 and Claire’s rings packs are cute and cheap but they never last. Accessories are so important for my aesthetic so I needed rings I could wear on the daily. I found this company on Amazon, it was highly recommended and rated. It’s not the typical price you’d pay for a single ring compared to clothing stores and such but it’s worth it. This ring shines, does not turn, and looks expensive. They also have cilvar options, if that’s your preference.

3. Ice roller
This one is truly iconic. I cant lie… I’ve inspired many to get this but I can’t take all the credit, my favorite Youtber Danielle Carolan has truly been a wellness queen and all about self care. She has raved about this and I needed to try. Ice rolling has many benefits. According to Glamour, “The application of the freezing roller boosts circulation, bringing blood to the skin surface and helping to restore radiance and encourage optimum cell function. Plus, ice-rolling can instantly reduce puffiness and redness, much like an ice-pack can reduce swelling and bruising.” I use mine every morning, laying in bed sipping my coffee. 4. workout set
These have been such a staple in my wardrobe because every Monday and Wednesday I have a yoga class. Sets are so effortless but makes you look put together like you tried. I sometimes dress these up with a jean jacket and claw clip for a chic look. I have these sets and multiple colors and it has truly made life so much easier, because typically I’d be scrimmaging through my leggings drawer then searching for a suitable sports bra. These definitely aren’t the cheapest but the material is worth it and it’ll last you years.
