Thoughts I Have While Driving in the Winter

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wilfrid Laurier chapter.

The second the snow falls, it’s like everyone forgets how to drive a car, and we are all at the mercy of those white devilish flakes falling from the sky. I get it, they’re distracting, it gets slippery, and we’re all doomed. But it’s Canada, so we should be mastering the skill of winter driving. I certainly haven’t, so here are some of our thoughts while driving in the winter.

Here we go.

Maybe I should have scraped off my back window.

It’s not even that slippery….

Okay… maybe a little slippery.

Why are people driving so cautiously…. oh sh*t, I need to slow down.

I likely should have left earlier.

Maybe if I use some wiper fluid my window will defrost faster?

WHY ARE THEY FOGGING UP AGAIN, I NEED TO PULL OVER BUT I CAN’T SEE.

I didn’t even need to get my winter tires put on.

Okay, maybe it’s a good thing I did.

That snow is really starting to come down, holy sh*t.

That’s it, I’m going home.
