It may not be the same

But it will always give hope

Like a traveller lost

Looking for a path

We too are looking for a path

To come out of this maze

But the flowers will still bloom

Maybe not now but later

We need the strength to endure this heat

Every moment this summer

Will be a test

But it will pass

It will pass if you are strong

But we must wait

In our loneliness we must learn

To be strong

To be fearless

Every moment spent praying

Our loneliness will end sooner

The butterflies will flutter

The flowers will bloom

This year they will dance again

Bloom again

Just without us

We must wait

For the storm to end

For the rainbow to glow

Colouring us all

After the dark storm

It is a summer without us
