Must-See Fashion Trends for Spring 2018

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Waterloo chapter.

Spring has finally sprung! It’s time to get into a sunshine-happy mood, because before you know it, the weather will be in one too! I’ve scoured the internet, and watched all the Fashion Week Snaps, to present you with the hottest styles for Spring 2018. Here are some of the hottest trends from the runways of Milan, London, New York, and Paris.

The Colours: Pastel

Straight off the Versace runway (left), pastels are the go-to colours for spring – and lucky for us, this is a look that is easy to replicate, and can be done in so many ways! This (right) pastel blue jumpsuit from Missguided is absolutely to DIE for!

Fringe

This colourful frock (left) was featured in Calvin Klein’s show, and I for one am loving the fringe. For a more subtle, but equally as awesome look, try Fashion Nova’s (right) Margaret Fringe Sequin Dress!

Checks

This look (left) comes straight from the iconic Victoria Beckham herself, which is basically all the motivation I need to channel this look for spring. Try these (right) checked pants from urban planet, for a casual yet professional look for yourself! You’ll definitely be dressed for success at your spring co-op with these looks!

Florals

This fierce floral suit (left) comes to you from the Off-White runway, and is the perfect fashion inspo for spring. Floral prints can be done in so many ways – for example, this (right) floral dress from Forever21! I don’t know about you, but I can practically FEEL the sun on my face and sand in my toes just looking at these looks.

It’s time to check your closets or use this as your excuse for some retail therapy because spring is here! Check out our article on affordable online clothing stores so that you too can rock these styles this spring! Happy shopping!!
