Easy Homemade Supercharge Coffee to Help You Study for Your Exams

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Waterloo chapter.

Let’s be honest. Caffeine can be a lifesaver during exam session. It can also sometimes make you jittery or give you a caffeine crash. So, instead of a regular cup of coffee, make this supercharged coffee and conquer your studying and exams.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of fresh coffee

  • 1 tbsp. of coconut oil

  • ½ cup of unsweetened coconut milk

  • ½ tsp of cinnamon

  • ½ tsp of maple syrup

  • ½ tsp of vanilla

Directions:

  • Blend the coffee, coconut oil, unsweetened coconut milk, maple syrup, and vanilla until frothy.

  • Pour into your favourite mug, sprinkle with cinnamon, and enjoy!

Coffee is proven to improve memory, mood, and energy levels. Coconut oil can boost your immune system and brain health. The coconut milk adds a lot of flavour without also adding a lot of calories. The cinnamon helps to prevent the caffeine crash by controlling your blood sugar. Lastly, using maple syrup instead of refined sugar is not only healthier but also helps fight free radicals.

Enjoy your supercharged coffee and good luck on your exams!
