December oh December: A Poem

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Waterloo chapter.

December oh December,

What do you hide within you

With all the extraordinary surprises in you

You bring families closer

December oh December,

You bring the snow with tears of joy

You bring worry to some

You bring joy to others

December oh December,

You bring nostalgia of the year ending

You bring shades of red

You bring shades of green

You bring light of the new year coming

December oh December,

You make me cry

You make me laugh

You make me go back home

December oh December,

Tis the festive season in you

You bring me back to my own

But when you end I leave my own

December oh December,

You give me a reason to smile

You give me my family

You are the last

But you shine like a star

December oh December,

You are here

So is the blissful time of the year.
