Marissa McGehee is a junior here at the UW. She is a majoring in Communicatiosn and is involved with Delta Gamma as well as PRSSA (Public Relation Student Soceity of America) while also working at Nuwest.
Where is your favorite study spot? “The little white desk in my room”
What is your favorite thing about UW? “The walks through campus spring quarter!”
What is the best thing to do spring quarter? “Probably, doing all of the outdoor activities, like going to Pike Place or Greenlake on the weekends.”
What are you most excited for this summer? “Living on my own and being able to go to happy hour with my friends!”
What is your best tip for studying? “Don’t listen to music while you’re studying, it distracts you more than you think.”
What is the best class you’ve taken so far at UW? “I really liked my public speaking class (Communication 220) because it pushes you out of your comfort zone and is just a different learning environement from what the UW normally gives you”.
