Chris Sanderson (2016)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wash U chapter.

Chris Sanderson is the ultimate cutie; he’s charming, smart, handsome, and sweet. Chris is a sophomore from Downers Grove, IL and despite his rugged athletic exterior, he manages to maintain a soft side (he even likes Taylor swift). You’re in for a special treat if you happen to spot him in his Wash U Bears baseball uniform. He is one of the funniest guys you will meet, so scroll down to learn more about this cutie!

Name: Chris Sanderson

Hometown: Downers Grove, IL

Year: Sophomore

Major/Minor: Finance and Entrepreneurship, with a History minor

What are you involved with on campus? I’m a pitcher on the varsity baseball team, and I’m the philanthropy chair for Phi Delta Theta

Where can we find you hanging out on a typical day? The house, the baseball field, Hitzeman.

What did you want to be when you grow up? A professional baseball player. Or an engineer, but then I actually took a physics class and immediately changed my mind.

Tell us your guilty pleasure. Taylor Swift music. I went to her concert this summer.

Is there anything you can’t live without? My glasses/contacts. I literally can’t live without those, like I’d crash the car because I couldn’t see. Oh and bacon. Bacon is great.

What is your most embarrassing moment: As a freshman in high school, I had to dance in front of the entire school, students and faculty, at an assembly. Those of you who know my (lack of) dance skills will truly understand how bad that was.

Can you tell us what you look for first in a girl? Eyes and smile.

Any deal breakers? Slow walkers, people who interrupt, and that one person who somehow doesn’t know what he wants at Chipotle.

What is your Ideal date? A nice dinner, then a concert (preferably a country one).

If you had one superpower what would it be and why? I’d want to be able to fly. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… Chris Sanderson??? It would be incredibly cool and convenient.

Do you have any last words about yourself that we should know about? I love to golf. And if you do too, we’re going to get along great.
