I was incredibly intrigued when advertisements for at-home laser hair removal devices kept popping up on my Instagram and TikTok. So, I did as any girl would, and I called my mom and asked for an early Christmas Gift. I ordered mine off of Amazon, Amazon Link, I was nervous about spending a ton of money becuase my mom had large concerns of it not working and this was a great option on the lower end of the pricing spectrum while still having great reviews. This product was $189.99 when I purchased it; however, it is currently on sale for $119.97.
I carefully followed the instructions, which were very user-friendly, and did it every other day for the first four weeks, then did it two times a week following. I cannot say how much I love this purchase. Within the first two weeks, I started shaving less and less, and now, I almost never have to shave. This is a great device as it can be used on every part of your body, even your face. In addition to its ease, it is a fun thing to add to your weekly schedule, and it has quickly become one of my favorite types of self-care.
The kit includes razors to shave before you zap, glasses to protect your eyes from the laser, a charger, the laser itself, and the chart to mark which days you did it. The laser is about seven inches and is kind of bulky, which makes it difficult to travel with. It has five settings you work your way up to and a nice fan, so it doesn’t sting. Be aware of the fact that this will only work for certain hair colors and skin colors due to the fact that it is not as powerful as a professional one.
I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone who thinks they would use it. It works and doesn’t take much time to figure out or do. The process takes me about 15 minutes, and the setup/clean-up takes about two minutes. After owning this for almost three months, I have noticed a major difference and will continue using it my whole life.
