Top 10 Fashion Websites to Shop for Less

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at VCU chapter.

With Black Friday behind us and the holidays right around the corner, we’ll be shopping so much it’s going to start feeling like a workout. But are you tired of shopping at the typical Forever 21, Charlotte Russe and H&M like everyone else you know? Let’s save a trip to the mall and your cash and open up your laptop. There’s a sea of online fashion stores to explore right at your fingertips.

1.

www.aliexpress.com

If you’ve ever experienced an awful online shopping purchase where the item(s) looked nothing like it did online, this particular website might scare you away. However, I’ve personally ordered from this site and I can tell you that the quality is amazing for what you’re paying for. AliExpress is pretty comparable to Amazon, where you can purchase absolutely anything from fashion, beauty, toys, home decor and computers. Because the site sells a wide array of products, I only recommend using this site if you’re looking to shop for something very specific items such as “black fringe leather jacket.” The only downfall to AliExpress is that all items are being ordered from wholesale retailers in China, so standard shipping will take at least 25 days.

2.

www.fashionnova.com

Headquartered in Los Angeles, FashionNova sells the trendiest clothes and accessories with incredible sales. Many customers rave about the quality of their jeans and party dresses which are designed perfectly for curvy women. The best part is that this company partners with many social media influencers who provide coupon codes for shopping on the site. So check out your favorite insta-famous girl– she just might be able to help you save some money.

3.

www.wantmylook.com

This online retailer takes runway looks and make it affordable for your closet! Selling chic apparel, shoes and accessories from Los Angeles, they also provide many opportunities for sitewide sales. This site is perfect for shopping for more formal clothes for special occasions.

4.

www.boohoo.com

This Manchester-based company sells their own brand clothing, shoes and accessories. Targeted towards both men and women, this site provides hundreds of new styles every day. Boohoo also has massive sales of 50 percent off daily. Surprisingly shipping is also pretty fast for coming from England.

5.

www.gojane.com

GoJane is another trendy website where there’s something for everyone for any occasion. With winter coming up, you can grab your bomber jackets, faux fur coats and trench coats under $40! This site is known to have fairly quick shipping with three to five business days.

6.

www.urbanog.com

Similar to FashionNova, Boohoo and GoJane, UrbanOG sells the latest styles of streetwear and dressy clothes. If you’ve been looking for some cute booties for this season, this site has tons of them, and all for $30 and under, too!

7.

www.asos.com

Asos is another British online store taking over the globe. They are probably one of the most popular fashion retailers selling over 850 brands as well as its own clothing and accessories. With affiliated brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, DKNY, Billabong, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Steve Madden and Reebok. You can find anything you need for your closet here for less and best part is you get free international four-day shipping if you spend $30.

8.

www.lolashoetique.com

If you are a shoe fanatic, you might already know about this site. If not, well know you know! Lola Shoetique is a family-owned business located in Los Angeles, CA. They sell shoes and clothing perfect for work, weekend and everyday wear. Their shoes are knock-offs of many designer brands and are absolutely to die for!

9.

www.egoofficial.com

Another amazing website for you shoeaholics out there! Ego solely sells footwear of the latest trends. They also offer 20 percent student discount and $5.99 standard shipping for US.

10.

www.cupshe.com

This is another website many people might find unsafe. From my personal experience, I’ve had a mixed impression of Cupshe. I’ve recently ordered a romper that fits me nothing like I expected it to and the zipper on the back was poorly stitched on. I would say that I’ve had great experiences purchasing their bathing suits. They offer a wide variety of patterns, materials and fit for bikinis. My biggest tip is to read the reviews of the products before you add them to your cart for purchase. However, their shipping unfortunately takes at least two weeks to arrive.
