HC: Hey Joanna…or Hope? [Laughs] having two preferred names must get interesting. Tell why you decided to come to good ole VSU.

JHT: My cousin went to VSU and gave me a tour of the campus. I fell in love immediately and knew where I wanted to pursue my degree!

HC: That’s nice! Many students would complain about having the major you have – Chemistry. What do you plan to do with your major? And how do you stay on top of your schoolwork?

JHT: I want to be a pilot in the Air Force. I am constantly studying with such a demanding major and I am sharp because I stay organized and on top of my stuff.

HC: Let’s get to know the real you! How would you describe yourself?

JHT: I am sentimental because I care about people so much and am really sensitive underneath it all! I play volleyball and baskeball. Some of my favorite things to do are tan, relax, and spend time with my amazing family.

HC: Since you are our Campus Cutie of the week, what is your favorite pick-up line?

JHT: Do you have 11 protons? ‘Cause you’re Sodium fine!

HC: That’s really cute! It matches your major! If you heard a guy say that, what are the top 3 traits you are immediately going to look for in him?

JHT: Caring, outgoing, and HOT.

HC: If he met these requirements, what would he need to do to take you on a “perfect” date?

JHT: A perfrect date for me would be one that is well thought out. There doesn’t need to be a lot of money spent as long as we can have a great time and I can tell there was effort made to simply make me smile!
