Hello, beautiful humans of the world!

One of the hardest things that most people have a hard time with is taking care of themselves and having a healthy self-care routine. Finding time to spend on ourselves is so difficult, especially when you are a college student. We get so wrapped up in school that we forget about ourselves and our well-being. Here are 5 tips on how to successfully have a self-care day…. The correct way!

   

  1. Sleeping in

Catching up on much need sleep is a necessity! We all have those moments were we just all must sleep in and steal those extra 2 hours of sleep. You don’t even have to be sleep you can just lay there and relax and take in that moment.

       2. Morning workout.

Waking up in the morning and starting your day with a great workout is just wat the mind a body needs! Getting your body ready for the day is an amazing thing. You have a chance to focus and get ready to start your day and have your mind ready to tackle the goals you have set for that day.

     3. Take a shower or bubble bath.

After all the sweat that you have built from that amazing workout that you just did, take a nice hot shower or bubble bath. Giving your body that time to relax after that har workout is good. When you smell good you feel good!

     4. Read a book.

Reading a good book is beyond amazing. it gives your mind time to reconnect and come back to the real world. You have a chance to stay off social media and rebuild your mental wellbeing. There is nothing better than a nice glass of lemonade and good book.

     5. Netflix and chill…with yourself

If books are not your thing, Netflix and Hulu will be! You can finish the shows that you haven’t had a chance to finish. I know I have 1 shows that I am binge watching currently and I am loving it. Get you some snacks, something to drink and enjoy the day and night away!
