It doesn’t matter if it’s genetics, mother nature, binge junk food eating, or whatever life throws at us—no one likes getting that pimple big enough to have its own Wal Mart! It’s the worst when you’re talking to someone and you know they’re staring at your pimple and not listening to anything you’re saying, right?

Forget about making a dermatologist appointment! Here are 5 ways to achieve flawless skin!

1. African Black Soap

The natural ingredients in black soap are filled with antioxidants that keep your face clean and soft! Washing your face daily with this soap is a great way to keep your skin healthy without any harsh chemicals!

2. Wash warm, rinse cold!

Using warm water when washing your face is important because it opens your pores and allows you to get the yucky dirt that causes pimples off of your face! Rinsing with cold water allows your pores to close once you’re finished washing your face.

3. Vitamin E oil

This is one of the heaven-sent, Holy Grail products for your face! Vitamin E oil is great for preventing wrinkles and getting rid of dark circles under your eyes! It evens out your skin tone and gives you a natural glow. The best way to use this oil is by applying a light (very very light) coat on your face before bed. Make sure your face is clean before applying!

4. Honey and Olive (or Coconut) oil facial

Honey, olive oil, and coconut oil are all great products for moisturizing the skin and creating an even skin tone! Use a tablespoon of each ingredient and apply it to your face for a minimum of 30 minutes, then wash with warm water. If you want to add an exfoliating ingredient, cut open a green tea bag and add it to the ingredients. Green tea is also a great ingredient for evening your skin tone!

5. Take occasional breaks from makeup

If you’re a makeup fanatic, taking a break from makeup may help your skin tremendously. Makeup tends to clog your pores with chemicals and preservatives that cause acne. Taking a break allows your skin to return to its natural moisture level!

Follow these tips and let your skin prosper!
