We know midterms can be a stressful time for everyone. Here are some tips to help you stay cool, calm, and confident this week!

1. Eat well!

The temptation to grab the junk food is super high during midterms. Try reaching for a healthy snack instead of cookies or chips. Keeping things like fruit cups and granola bars in your bag is a great way to avoid those trips to the vending machine. Your body (and your brain) will thank you!

2. Buy a planner!

A good planner is a must have, especially for busy college students. Scheduling your time can help you stay organized and reduce stress. Write down all your homework assignments, quizzes, tests, and extracurricular activities. Be sure to check your planner everyday, so you won’t get hit with any surprises!

3. Take a study break!

Studying for hours and hours can really take a toll on your brain and body. It’s important to take study breaks periodically, so you don’t end up sitting in the library feeling like a zombie. Go for a walk, get some frozen yogurt, call a friend, or take a nap. Personally, I like to watch an episode of my favorite show while I take a study break!

4. Keep calm, they’re only midterms!

Of course, midterms are important, but remember that a test doesn’t make or break your whole academic career. None of us are perfect. Study hard and do your best, but don’t stress yourself out too much. Feeling confident and believing in yourself will increase your chances of success!

HCXO!
