Meet the Member Monday — Hi, I’m Stephanie!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWindsor chapter.

Welcome back to Meet the Member Monday!

It is an honour to introduce a very new member, Stephanie! She is on our writing team and just joined in September. She is in her first year of teacher’s college here at the University of Windsor! We’re excited to have her share her writing with all of you!

Let’s get to know more about her:

What brought you to HC UWindsor?

My love of writing brought me to HC UWindsor. I also love meeting new people, especially since I am new to Windsor and didn’t know anyone when I got here.

What do you do for HC UWindsor?

I am a writer for HC UWindsor, and I am excited to continue writing new fun content!

What is your favourite colour?

My favourite colour is blue, but a close second is yellow.

Tell us three fun facts about yourself!

  1. I have participated in two marathons.

  2. I have been to the junior olympics for sport stacking.

  3. I have played the violin for 18 years.

What is your favourite quote?

I love all Walt Disney and Disney quotes, but my favourite one is, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” – Walt Disney

What is your best advice for fellow students?

My advice would be find something you love to do that takes your mind off of studying.  You need a little bit of time a week to keep yourself mentally healthy.

What career do you hope to have once you graduate?

When I graduate I hope to become a high school gym and math teacher.  I have wanted to teach since I was four, so it is my dream job!

Stephanie has made a wonderful addition to our group, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her. Check back next week to meet yet another one of our amazing members!
