What Homecoming Week is Like for Organizations

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWF chapter.

Homecoming week is finally upon us, and the UWF campus is decked out in school spirit. The most exciting part about Homecoming week is the Golden Fleece Challenge. Student organizations compete to be the most spirited org on campus. This challenge is a combination of a few challenges such as the Window Pane Competition, Canon Fest “Minute to Win It” Challenges, the Cardboard Boat Race and more. First place gets a banner with the team’s name on it and a plaque but most importantly bragging rights. Competitions can bring out the worst and the best in people, so here’s what Homecoming week is like for organizations.
