Whether it’s yoga or running on the treadmill, it’s important to exercise while at school. But no one said you couldn’t look good while doing so. With these DIY workout tops, you are sure to make a statement at the gym. All you need is an old t-shirt and a pair of scissors; and you can have an awesome new look in no time.

1. Cut-Outs

This shirt will have you looking like an “angel” when you go for your morning jog. Each cutout forms a pair of wings that shows off your cute sports bra.

2. Acid Wash

For those girls who like an edgier look, this acid wash shirt is the one for you. This look is easily made by splattering bleach on your shirt, or rapping it up in rubber bands and creating a tie-dye look.

3. Twist-tie

This top can turn any old boring t-shirt into something unique. With the twist details in the back, you’ll have people’s heads turning.

4. Open Back

This look is perfect for those girly girls out there. With this bow detail in the back, your workout look will definitely be super sweet.

5. Oversized Tank

Athletic clothes don’t have to be just for working out; they can be loungewear as well. This oversized tank is a great weekend top for when you’re running errands or just lazing around home.

6. Rap Top

But if you like to keep it simple, than this top is for you. This basic wrap top molds to your body and allows for easy movements while you’re active at the gym.

7. Loop Knots

This shirt is made for all you Zumba girls out there. Each loop interconnects and twists with all your movements as you dance your butt off to some salsa music.

8. Braided

It’s all in the details with this top. This front keeps it basic, but when you turn around the braid makes a real statement.
