Fall Clothes You Should Never Live Without

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Lax chapter.

Behind every season there is a major closet switchover that needs to happen. To start off the fall of 2016 the right way, here are five outfits every college student must have.

  1. Leggings. Behind every female’s college closet is a pair of comfy black leggings. Leggings are great pared with boots, off the shoulder shirts, sweaters, cardigans, etc. You will never be disappointed in the purchase and you can use them for everyday use, working out, or going out. Here is a link to some plain black leggings that are affordable and incredibly comfy.

  1. Vests. In 2016 vests are coming back with a vengeance in a variety of colors and fabrics. Make room in your closet and dust off your old storage bins because this item of clothing is not becoming last season anytime soon. Here are two vests that can be used for casual or party wear.

  1. Flannels. Since the temperature is dropping we can no longer tie flannels around our waists, but wear them on our backs. The long days of drinking and eating pumpkin spiced everything while sitting next to the fire are in full swing. Cozy up in a blanket reading your favorite book with this flannel:

This fall don’t be afraid to try something new. You can never go wrong with the choices above but there isn’t anything wrong with a long necklace, UGGS, or sweatshirts. Comfort comes first so make sure to layer up.

Fall is finally here so embrace the pumpkin season in style.
