This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UTSA chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

It’s the weight that keeps you stuck in bed.

It’s the hesitation before speaking up in class.

It’s that sinking feeling you get that travels down to your toes when something scary happens.

It’s the time spent thinking of excuses to cancel plans.

It’s the consistent thoughts of the worst case scenario.

It’s the irrelevant stress that consumes you.

It’s having a difficult time to completely filling your lungs with breath.

It’s the realization that you stayed up until 6am thinking about things.

It’s anxiety, and it lives in all of us.

It might be at varying levels, but we all experience it.

It is only temporary.

Stay strong.
