A College Student’s Thoughts Over the Weekend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UTM chapter.
  • It’s Friday. I shouldn’t do anything today except relax and enjoy the day. I deserve it. I did make it through the entire week after all, and it’s such a pretty day out!

  • I want to try the Captain’s Clover Starbuck’s drink! It even has green whipped cream on top. How festive!

  • I really need to get started on one of my three research papers.

  • What does dragon fruit taste like?

  • I think I’m going to read a book on this nice Saturday morning.

  • I woke up at 10:30, but would it be wrong for me to take a two hour nap at 1pm? Who cares if it’s wrong? I’m going to take a nap.

  • I should probably study for my quizzes, or at least look over the notes for my test.

  • Wow! I should take a nap everyday. I wonder if I can fit that into my schedule this week.

  • I still need to start on one of my papers.

  • Can a polar bear walk on its hind legs? I should look that up, but I should also do some research for my paper. Ew, research.

  • I wrote 3 sentences. That’s a solid start. Isn’t that good enough for a weekend? I mean, it’s the weekend. Who wants to work on research on the weekend? I can always do this Monday.

  • Who am I kidding? I don’t want to work on this Monday or any day for that matter. I need to do it right now while I have no distractions or plans. What else would I be doing anyways?

  • Okay, I have two paragraphs. Is it time for bed yet?

  • Dogs are so precious. They’re all so cute and lovable. Humans don’t deserve them.
