Today, most people are searching for ways to limit the impact they have on the environment. Many people are also interested in finding the best and most efficient ways to keep themselves looking sharp. Well, why not combine these two goals? Shampoo bars offer some wonderful benefits that everyone can appreciate. Read on for five different reasons why you should consider switching from bottled liquid shampoo to shampoo bars.

Cost Effective.

Shampoo bars cost less per use than a regular bottle of liquid shampoo. Also, they last foooorreeeeevvveeeer. Seriously. I’ve had mine for a year, and it still lathers beautifully. I’ve been really pleased with how long it has lasted. It definitely beats buying new shampoo every couple of months!

Easy for Travel.

No more worries about your shampoo bursting or leaking in your suitcase!! No more using saran wrap as a make-shift seal for your shampoo bottles! Just chuck your shampoo bar into a travel case and you’re good to go. Plus, a shampoo bar is solid, so no worries about being over the 3.4 ounce limit for the size of a bottle in your carry-on luggage!

Simplify Your Shower Space.

Bottles take up a lot of space, and shower designers don’t seem to realize this. I ran out of space on the tiny ledge I keep my products on ~years~ ago. A shampoo bar takes up much less space — leaving some extra room for the eight thousand dull rusty razors I’ve needed to throw away for months.

More Versatile Than You Think.

If you worry that you won’t get all the bells and whistles that you have come to expect from your liquid shampoo if you switch to a shampoo bar, think again. There’s all sorts of volumizing, conditioning, and protective properties in shampoo bars — you can customize it to your ’do just as much as when you use liquid bottled shampoo.

Good for the Environment.

Many shampoo bars are sold with no packaging! That’s less plastic that ends up in the landfill, and more peace of mind when it comes to your carbon footprint.

These are just some of the potential benefits of switching over to using shampoo bars for your hair care routine. There are many options available and varieties to try, so you may just find the perfect solution to your hair needs. When you next run out of shampoo, consider buying a bar to replace it.
