U Drive Electric

Are you tired of your car and ready for a new one?  Do you not have a car and are interested in buying one?  Have you always wanted to have an electric car but never known where to start or if you can afford it?  Well, it’s your lucky day because the University of Utah has done most of the work for you.  Better act fast though because this program only lasts till December 31! 

About U Drive Electric 

U Drive Electric is a program that the University of Utah and Utah Clean Air Association teamed up to create.  This program offers electric and hybrid vehicles to buy or lease for a very discounted prices.  They have expedited the car buying/leasing process by setting up contact information, preparing the lots with the cars offered, and negotiating the prices.  Plus, it is all in the name of cleaner air for our value.  This program offers a variety of cars including new BMW’s, Fords, and Nissans.  Prices for leasing starts at $175 a month with $3000 down and buying at $24,719.  These prices are not including the tax breaks that you would receive in the next coming year.

We are so lucky to be on a campus that cares about cleaning up our air and bettering the envirnoment! This will be the next big program the U has partnered up with Utah Clean Air with (the first was U Community Solar) and we know it’ll be just as big of a success!
