Panhellenic Sororities at the University of Utah

There are six Panhellenic sororities at the University of Utah. They are all amazing in their own ways! So here is a quick guide to help you learn more about each of them.

Alpha Chi Omega

Established: 1885

Motto: Together let us seek the heights.

Philanthropy: Domestic Violence Awareness, Prevention, and Education

Symbols: Lyre

Colors: Scarlet and Olive Green

Flower: Red Carnation

Alpha Phi

Established: 1872

Motto: Union hand in hand

Philanthropy: The Alpha Phi Foundation

Symbols: Ivy and Phi Bear

Colors: Bordeaux and silver

Flower: Lily of the valley

Chi Omega

Established: 1895

Motto: Sisters on Purpose

Philanthropy: Make-a-Wish Foundation

Symbols: Skull and Crossbones, owl

Colors: Cardinal and Straw

Flower: White Carnation

Delta Gamma

Established: 1873

Motto: Do good

Philanthropy: Service for Sight

Symbols: Anchor

Colors: Bronze, pink, and blue

Flower: Cream rose

Kappa Kappa Gamma 

Established: 1870

Motto: Dream boldly, live fully

Philanthropy: Nomi, Reading is Fundamental, and The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation

Symbols: Owl, Key, Fleur de lis

Colors: Light blue and dark blue

Flower: Fleur de lis

Pi Beta Phi

Established: 1867
