Emery Lehman
I’ll start this list with Emery Lehman, a speed skater who will be making his Olympic debut in PyeongChang this year. I think the most obvious reason Lehman made this list is for those beautiful brows. I mean honestly, those brows are naturally full and styled so well they’re ready to cut a b*tch. Mr. Lehman, I worship the ground you walk on.
2. Lindsey Vonn
Lindsey Vonn is basically America’s sweetheart when it comes to Olympic skiing. She took home a gold and bronze medal at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, but she hasn’t competed at the Olympic level since. However, our girl Lindsey (and her perfect Sports Illustrated bod) is BACK and she’s ready to show us what her perfect skin and beautiful hair can do. (P.S. please date me.)
3. Thomas Hong
Thomas Hong has the boyish good looks I’ve been worshipping my entire life. My inner fangirl is SHAKING as we await his Olympic debut in speed skating. Not only is he an Olympic speed skater, and the ideal member of every boy band ever, but he also loves to cook. Imagine this mans cooking you a five-course meal, then skating away to the Olympics. Not to mention he’s obviously great at staying hydrated. LOOK AT HIS FLAWLESS SKIN.
4. Aja Evans
I think it’s clear why Aja Evans is on this list. Not only is she an Olympic veteran, with a bronze medal already under her belt, but she’s also fine as hell. Do I even need to explain? LOOK at those teeth. LOOK at those brows. And if you want to appreciate Aja even more than you do right now. Google her. I dare you. Take one look at the image section, and you’ll learn she has the body of a Greek goddess. I don’t care who you are. She could squat you.
5. Ted Ligety
All my friends are going to hate me for saying this, but Ted Ligety is the definition of daddy. Does he have kids? Who knows. But what he does have is NINE Olympic medals (seven of which are gold) and a great head of blonde hair. Do we really have to do much more than look at the picture above to understand why I’m in love with Ted Ligety? No. No we do not. That hair. That smile. Y’all I’m done.
6. Jerica Tandiman
Jerica Tandiman is a Utah native ready to make her Olympic debut in long-track speed skating, which is honestly reason enough for me to have a crush on her. Then, we add on the fact that her hair is longer than my projected life-span, and healthier than most of the relationships I’ve had in my life, thus far, and now I’m completely in love with her. If you’re reading this Jerica, please tell me what your hair-care routine is. Oh and also, please marry me.
7. Hakeem Abdul-Saboor
I’ll just start off by saying this man’s entire existence is a thirst-trap. I couldn’t find his instagram, but you bet your ass I’m gonna find a way to slide into his DMs through this picture I found on google. This is his first time competing at the Olympic level, but he holds various titles from World Cups AND he competes at NPC events as a physique competitor. And if all that wasn’t reason enough to hang a poster of this man, well I’ll have you know he also loves rottweilers. He’s a dog person ladies. Get at him.
8. Karen Chen
Karen Chen is the definition of beauty and grace. This will be her first Olympics, but she is definitely not new to the world of high-stakes competition. She recently finished fourth overall at the World Championship. So to put it simply, she’s an incredible ice-skater with perfect hair and skin and she probably stays hydrated all day every day. That being said. I love her.
9. Ben Ferguson
I saved Ben Ferguson for last selfishly, because he is my dream man. One look at him and I already know he’s way cooler than everyone I’ve ever associated with. He’s a Red Bull athlete and an X-Games silver medalist, and he wears a denim jacket like it ain’t nobody’s business. To sum things up this man is a snack and a half and just about everything that’s right with the world.
