Sometimes trying to find a class that fits in your schedule is nearly impossible. And trying to find a class that sounds appealing? Even more impossible. Here is a breakdown of some of the “easiest” online classes! Sign up before it is too late!
1. COMM 4610 – Magazine Writing
Awesome online class to fill you upper division writing class! The professor is great and super accommodating, extra credit is offered!
2. MATH 1010
Math 1010 is easily one of the most challenging classes at the U (especially if you are bad at math in general). For anyone that just can’t pass the class I recommend the online version. You are still required to take weekly quizzes and complete the webwork, but 3 of your homework and lowest quiz scores are dropped at the end of the semester.
3. PSY 1010 – General Psychology
Great class to take as an intro to Behavioral Sciences (yes, you do need a BF credit). Usually a top pick for freshman at the U!
4. GEOG 1000 – Earth Environments
Finally a science class for the humanities majors. Participation is important for this class and plan on reading the textbook!
5. H EDU 1010 – Healthy Lifestyles
Requires community service, discussions, and a few essays. Health 1010 fills up quick so if you are planning on taking it next semester make sure you don’t wait to enroll.
6. H EDU 3350 – Eating Disorders & Body Image
This class isn’t necessarily hard but requires a lot of writing and is a great GPA booster! The textbook is interesting and the assignments are thought provoking and worth your time. Every student at the U should take this class!
7. HIST 1700 – American Civilization
American Civ is mostly just busy work and a few essays. There is nothing better than finishing your AI credit online with this class!
8. LING 1069 – Bad Words & Taboo Terms
Get ready to read! This class can be challenging if you fall behind. Do the reading and the assignments on time and the grade will follow.
9. MUSC 1236 – Survey of Jazz
This class is great pick if you need a diversity credit! Don’t fall behind or forget about the concert reports.
10. POLS 1100 – US National Gov
Great AI credit for those who are thinking about being Political Science Major. A more in-depth course than the one you took in high school but the concepts are still easy to understand. Reading is a must!
