I am one of those cheesy people who love looking at inspirational/motivational quotes. I love posting them on social media, saving them to my camera roll when I come across one that resonates with me and even buying wall art that makes me feel good. Although some people knock motivational quotes by saying things like “you shouldn’t need a string of words to motivate you.” I think you absolutely do! Life is hard and sometimes when you see those signs along the highway that say “smile” it really can make you happy, or perhaps smile. Words have a great impact on people and simple sayings can change someone’s day for the better.
There is power in words and sometimes you don’t realize how much you need that little boost of encouragement until you see them right in front of you.
I decided that this was a positive change I wanted to implement into my life. I wanted to try to be more positive and find things to motivate myself to be a better person. I didn’t want to waste my days or spend my time dwelling on negative energy. I found that by reading a positive message in the morning, it would give me a positive start to my day.

With all of the negativity that is plaguing our world, a little glimmer of positivity on social media is desperately needed.
