Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally got married on August 23rd! Everyone had been waiting for the day when the talented couple Brangelina tied the knot and it has finally happened. The newlyweds had a very small and intimate wedding at their vacation home in France, where Angelina surprised everyone with her choice of wedding attire.

Angelina decided to have her children and the master tailor of Atelier Versace, and  family friend Luigi Massi, design and make her wedding gown.  The design is very simple and clean cut. Angelina does not fuss with flower appliqués, ruffles, rhinestones, or bows on her big day. Instead, she opts for a satin floor length gown with an elongated train. The children had their drawings sewn into the veil and dress to make this a truly personal and unique piece.

The dress itself is very stunning on Angelina even though it definitely is not modern or what is in style right now. She has always been the one to be her own person and walk to the beat of her own drum; so this doesn’t bother her one bit.

I am definitely proud of Angelina Jolie for sticking to what she really wanted in a dress and not just going with the flow. The children are very important to the couple, so it just makes sense as to why they were the focal point of her dress and played an important part in the wedding.

So, would you ever wear a dress so daring?
