Life in the Tropics: Spring Break Edition!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UPR chapter.

Living on a tropical island does have its perks: when it comes to going on vacation, we’re the professionals!  With Spring Break just around the corner, I’m sure all of us want nothing more than a few days of no stress, no assignments, no cramming for last-minute mid-terms, no waking up early and definitely no more running from Generales to Humanidades to make it to class on time.

A few weeks ago, we posted some recommended secret spots to check out around the island. In a few weeks’ time they will be the perfect places to go and have some fun! Nevertheless, no spring-break checklist is complete without the essential goodies, and HCUPR has the ultimate #HCSurvivalKit

Here’s the recipe to make the most out of your Spring Break! -Sunblock (SPF 50 at least, ladies! Be nice to your skin)-Cool shades (Her Campus’s pink sunglasses go perfect with any outfit)-One of those special I-can’t-put-it-down novels (Dirty Rush by Taylor Bell and The Intern’s Handbook by Shane Kuhn are on the top of our lists!)-All of your besties -Healthy and yummy Luna bars to snack on!-A camera (For the must-have mementos of your vacation!)-Warm sun and blue skies
