Thankfully, we survived the midterms season…barely. The grades are up and half of us are jumping in joy while looking at those glamorous “A’s”, while the other half may be depressed and curled up in a corner after seeing their grades.

But one thing we all have in common is that we all need a refuel after the all-nighters, all the cramming, the reading, and the writing we went through. Some of us even need a little “cheer-me up” after the grades received were not the ones expected. For curing the blues many of us are experiencing right now, there is nothing better than those “feel good” movie classics. Here we leave you a list of movies you certainly need to watch, and if you already did, then watch them again! And by the way, we’re not listing any animated movie, because if not, this list would be overwhelmed by Disney classics. So snuggle up and get some popcorn, it’s time to relax!

1. The Little Rascals

Bringing that good ol’ nostalgia back. Reuniting with Alfafa and his group of adorable and hilarious boys will surely leave you with a smile on your face. This classic is a must.

2. 10 Things I Hate About You

A young Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, what more can we ask for? This 90’s teen movie full of feminists and young love is a perfect pick me up with laugh out loud moments and a scene where Heath ledger sings “I Love You Baby” that you can’t miss!

3. The Hangover

Come on, we all know you love it! This crude comedy will make you laugh at the same stupid jokes we have seen over and over again.

4. The Devil Wears Prada

To say this movie is addictive is an understatement! From the acting, a protagonist we can empathize with, and the clothes, this is a masterpiece you can watch over and over again. Also, can we say that Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly will always have a special place in our heart.

5. Forrest Gump

Even if this movie can be sad and heart wrenching at some moments, the end result is vastly satisfying. Forrest, being the embodiment of hope and innocence, will make you feel warm, fuzzy, and that everything will turn out just fine at the end of anything.

6. Matilda

A classic we all go back to whenever in need. Cute, innocent, and with a happy ending we all still cry about.

7. The Fundamentals of Caring

This Netflix original film is a must see for everyone. Following a witty and sardonic boy with a muscular dystrophy and his caregiver, a lost soul, and a retired writer, as they find themselves on a road trip of a lifetime. Humorous, sentimental, and smart, this one will stick with us for some time.

8. Pretty Woman

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere will always be and an unforgettable couple in this story that still makes even our grandmothers sigh. Charming as it is unforgettable.

9. Love Actually

Nine stories and one common theme. An emotional rollercoaster that will always have you smiling like an idiot at the television.

10. Legally Blonde

Last but not least, the movie we will never get tired of watching every single time it airs on T.V. Motivating, inspiring, and beautiful, the tale of Elle Wood is the one anyone needs to see to get back up from the blues.

Hope some of these titles can cheer you up, and remember, if things didn’t go so well with your grades, don’t fret! There is still time to raise them!
