Dear readers,

My name is Jackie and I am here to introduce a new column to Her Campus UNT called “Dear Jackie.” To start off, I would like to say thank you in  advance to all those who will trust me with their problems and trust that I’m giving them semi-good advice. I promise you that I will not send your personal life into shambles.

I am a 19 year-old sophomore who has experienced quite a bit in her short time on this earth, and that’s why I thought this would be a good fit for myself. Sometimes people feel alone or distant from the closest friends and family around them, and sometimes we just want an opinion from someone from the outside. And that’s why I am here: to give you my take on any issue, problem, or hard time you may be going through.

Everything you send me will stay anonymous and your story may end up featured on our blog section. I will be answering emails personally and choosing 2-4 stories every week or two to publish.
