Songs to Get You Through The Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNL chapter.

These busy days seem to be getting longer and more tiring. Good music always helps my long days seem a little more bearable. Here’s what I’ve been listening to:

1. “…Ready For It?” By Taylor Swift

This song only came out a couple days ago, but I already have all the words memorized because I’ve been playing it on repeat, every day!

2. “Broken Glass” By Rachel Platten

Rachel Platten (who also sings “Fight Song”) has a way of making me feel empowered and pumped-up through her music, so this is great to listen to during a workout!

3. “Million Bucks” by Smallpools

This is a great song for when you’re feeling down, because it will lift you right back up! When I’m not looking forward to something, I’ll play this song and instantly feel better.

4. “Fruit Punch” by Kaiydo

This song gets me so excited and happy, even when I have nothing to necessarily be excited or happy about! Another great workout song.

5. “Don’t Matter Now” by George Ezra

I absolutely love the sound of this song. It’s really calming, but also lifts my spirits and puts me in a good mood!
