How to Make the Next Seven Weeks the Best Yet

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

It’s hard to believe that we are more than halfway done with the spring semester. It is truly amazing how quickly time flies. This also means that we are in the midst of our midterms and soon enough finals will be among us. Before we get to summer vacation, we have to get through the next few weeks. Below you will find some tips and tricks on how to continue succeeding and to help you take the next seven weeks on!

  • Make the most of the incoming spring weather – go on a walk-in college woods, plan a hike in the white mountains, or spend the afternoon at the beach.
  • Eat mindfully. Eat slowly, eat simply and eat foods that will fuel your body for every day. Some awesome snack ideas are humus and veggies, avocado on whole wheat toast, apples and peanut butter, or chocolate covered bananas!

  • Cut down on the caffeine- drink more water and herbal tea. When you find yourself hitting that mid afternoon slump, fill up your reusable water bottle instead  of reaching for your wallet to buy a coffee. It’s rejuvenating, healthy, and will leave you feeling fresh.
  • Exercise your body. A great way to relief stress is by getting your body moving! Exercising with friends or going to a rec class is an awesome way to make physical activity fun.

  • Treat yourself to a cute bathing suit, new dress, a book etc. This is a good way to keep yourself motivated and to have something exciting to look forward to.
  • Spend time with your friends! Don’t let yourself get caught up in the hustle and bustle of school. Allow yourself to take a step back and connect with the people you love most!

  • Hygiene! It’s very easy to disregard some simple pampering techniques when you have millions of other things going on. Painting your nails, trying a new hairstyle, or purchasing a new soap from Lush can go along away.

If you embrace these little aspects of your life, you will truly do your best all the way through the summer.
